Collin Slowey is a writer on politics, culture, and religion whose work has been featured in The American Conservative, The Dallas Morning News, and Public Discourse, among other outlets. His topics of special interest include localism and moral philosophy.
Collin is a graduate of Baylor University, where he concentrated in Political Science, Great Texts, and Film. After furthering his study of political philosophy at the John Jay Institute, Collin moved to Washington, D.C. to work as a speechwriter.
Collin was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. When he is not thinking about theology or American public policy challenges, he enjoys drawing, playing tennis, and watching dinosaur documentaries. He currently lives on Capitol Hill with his lovely wife.
