Collin Slowey is an independent writer on politics, culture, and religion whose work has been featured in The American Conservative, The Dallas Morning News, and Public Discourse, among other outlets. His topics of special interest include political theology and local governance.
Collin Slowey is a graduate of Baylor University, where he concentrated in Political Science, Great Texts, and Film. After furthering his study of political philosophy at the John Jay Institute, Collin took a speechwriting position in the U.S. Senate, where he works full-time.
Collin was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. When he is not thinking about American public policy challenges, he enjoys drawing, playing tennis, and reading vintage mystery novels. He currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Gabriella.
